Chicas Empanadas is a woman-owned business offering handmade and authentic empanadas via high-volume farmers markets around the greater Boston area.
The owners were seeking a funky brand that reflected their Spanish heritage. Wavy Grape introduced the concept of a mascot to capture their personality. Combined with a bold and traditional Spanish color palette, custom typography, and branded icons, Chicas Empanadas' vibrant brand came to life.

Memorable design moves.
Purchasing custom packaging is often pricey and out-of-budget for start-ups. We were challenged to create a more affordable concept while still capturing that customized feel. These sticker sheets were the answer. Each sticker could be stuck onto generic cardboard packaging for a cohesive look and feel with lots of flexibility.
I have had the pleasure of working with Abby on creating a brand for my small business and she is absolutely amazing! She is quick to answer, always has a ton of ideas and really cares for her clients. She put so much thought into creating our logo and was patient with me when I had changes to make.
